An Anatolian Adventure
This twenty-eight day tour of western Anatolia is universally regarded as the most comprehensive tour available. On this tour, you will visit all the famous sites of Western Anatolia and many, many more which are not available on short package tours. Major highlights are a two day gulet excursion on the Mediterranean, an enchanting hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, the dance of the whirling dervishes, wonderful opportunities for relaxation and swimming. The pacing, the highlights, and other unique value-added features, make this tour magic. Tour Dates: April 25--May 23 or August 29--September 26, 2006. Land costs from $6000.00 Cdn. Ancient Kingdoms
This is a twenty-one day exploration of the beautiful and mysterious regions of Eastern Turkey. While it will especially appeal to travellers who have already spent some time in western Anatolia, a previous visit to Turkey is NOT a prerequisite for this tour. Like our tours of Western Turkey, we have attempted to provide travellers with an adequate opportunity to explore the towns and cities visited on their own. Also, we limit the size of the group to 10 people traveling on a comfortable air conditioned bus. We call this tour Ancient Kingdoms because this part of Turkey is truly old. From the Black Sea to the northern boundaries of Mesopotamia, we are visiting sites that are one or even two thousand years older than Rome. It's ancient, it's mysterious and it's beautiful. Tour Dates: May 24--June 17, 2006. Land costs from $6150.00 Cdn. [Please contact us to recieve comprehensive presentation of this tour.]
Paths Of The Saints
Turkey played a very important role in the development of the early Christian Church. St. Paul was from Turkey and made three evangelical trips here; St. John lived and wrote here; all of the famous seven churches in the Book of Revelation are in Turkey, and Mary is buried at Ephesus. For people who are interested in the roots of their faith, this tour is designed to introduce you to the rich and complex role that the cities and congregations of Anatolia played in the development of the Christian Church. It is also designed for pleasure as you will have an opportunity to explore and enjoy many other highlights of this rich and civil country. This tour can be customized and offered exclusively to a church group. It will be of special interest to congregations in churches named after St. Paul or St. John. Costs will vary depending on group size and dates. [Please contact us to recieve comprehensive presentation of this tour.]
Istanbul, City Of The World’s Desire
Every year, people who travel to Turkey with us regret having to leave Istanbul so quickly. Indeed, in the four full days our itinerary permits, they hardly scratch the surface of this enchanting and beautiful city. So we have created a truly wonderful ten-day experience in this city. You will unpack only once in an elegant hotel nestled against the city walls. In the ten days, you will see and experience all the great sites of the city-- some for the second time-- and then you will explore other parts of the city that most visitors do not ever see. You will become fully acquainted with Sinan, the great architect of the Ottomans whose buildings still grace the city today; you will explore the city's Christian and Jewish heritage; you'll enjoy delightful parks and palaces, and become familiar with all the waterways that surround the city. Most importantly, you will also have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.
This is a relaxing, thoughtful holiday in one of the world's most enchanting cities. Join us for ten wonderful days! This tour is available at any time of the year for private groups of two to twenty people. Costs will vary depending on group size and time.
