This is a twenty-one day exploration of the beautiful and mysterious regions of Eastern Turkey. While it will especially appeal to travellers who have already spent some time in western Anatolia, a previous visit to Turkey is NOT a prerequisite for this tour. Like our tours of Western Turkey, we have attempted to provide travellers with an adequate opportunity to explore the towns and cities visited on their own. Also, we limit the size of the group to 10 people travelling on a comfortable air conditioned bus. We call this tour Ancient Kingdoms because this part of Turkey is truly old. From the Black Sea to the northern boundaries of Mesopotamia, we are visiting sites that are one or even two thousand years older than Rome.
